The Pacific Northwest is home to one of the very few groups of resident bald eagles — eagles that spend all year in essentially the same area.

 

These eagles provide a unique opportunity to study how bald eagles develop, learn to fly and hunt, and start families of their own.

 

“Year of the Eagle” tells their story.
